Made a post a while ago asking for advice.... thanks much for help from several here.
I tested stove paint on my ceramic cap and put it inside the grill during a clean burn. I felt pretty good about the durability of the paint after that, so I cut stencils for the spartan heads and masked off the stripe.
The green of the egg is a great match for the MSU helmet.
