My Cedar Table for Large BGE

Long time lurker, first time poster. I first wanted to say this forum rocks and was essential in my table build research. Once I knew I was going to buy a BGE I started looking around if I should buy a nest or table. I was a bit surprised at the prices and so decided I should build my own table. I have little woodworking experience, only building a work bench with help from a friend. After watching a few videos I figured it shouldn't be too difficult.

I started with formalizing a design using SketchUp (great app!) then bought a bunch of 2x4s, 1x4 decking and 1x6 decking (all cedar). I used 5" caster wheels and lots of decking screws (1 5/8", 2", 2 1/2" ).The build took me probably 15-20 hours spanned over 5 weeks.

Funny note - It didn't take long (a couple days) after the build for the first mod.  I found a great piece of granite for $30 on craigslist that I had to inset into the table. I love the prep space.

Not funny note - On the move from the garage (where I built it) to the back yard patio I had to push it through grass and ran into a couple of pot holes that my dog created and snapped two of the wheels off.  I wasn't deterred and jacked up the table and re-attached the wheels (in ~30 degree temps).

Obligatory bottle opener - Went with University of Washington (football season ticket holder).

Here are the photos, enjoy!
