First post, first Egg and yet...

...to have first cook. If the vagaries of our unpredictable British weather allow it, it could be this coming weekend.

I wanted a table for my new MiniMax and decided to move away from all wood. Instead I chose 25mm aluminium square tubing which has great strength, with pine shelving. Just 48 hours from start to finish...the Egg is settled in, still within its stand, and can easily be removed for odd away days.

Clearly lots to learn from the aficionados here, particularly for a septuagenarian with not a great deal of experience!
