repurposed an old casing centralizer for the minimax

so ive had this old casing centralizer for years that served various office tasks (umbrella holder, blueprints etc.)
but i decided it would make a perfect travel stand for the minimax.

so i got it apart, blasted it then welded it back together


then i welded some 1/8" plate to the top, then attached some hinges and another equal sized 1/8" plate as a flip out table for it





welded another hinge with a piece of angle that flips out to hold the table up so it collapses inside itself, then welded some washers to bungee the table together to keep everything tidy while transporting



of course had to add a beer holster to it'




added a bottle opener (just in case ya know?) and brought it straight to Daytona for the Rolex 24hr race.
